Thank you so much for talking to Cricket about his training hiccups! He was back to his playful old self after your conversation with him, and seemed to really like that he knew what was going on. Also, I did notice an area of heat and pain in his neck where you said it would be, and will be taking him to the chiropractor soon to have it evaluated. “I bought a young gelding (2 ½ yrs old). He acted fine for a couple of days, and then after a while, he acted like he was terrified of hurting me and he just wasn’t acting right. I called Bayrab, and she came right over. She found out that he was concerned that the stallion who previously occupied the field was going to come back and was nervous. He also was, in fact, worried about hurting me as he was still worried that I was very fragile. I had suffered a concussion before getting him and was still very unsteady on my feet when he was delivered. I didn’t know he actually was that concerned about me. .... He is very protective of me anyway, but now that Bayrab came over and helped me communicate with him, things are going well, and I only have to remind him every once in a while, that I am not breakable.
